I could sit and listen to Peter Gammons speak all afternoon. That guy should get his own radio show. He had interesting stories about A-Rod, Dennis Eckersley and compared Alphonso Soriano to a step or two better than Mookie Wilson. It was a great lunch and his stories were captivating. During the commercial breaks, the crows got loud talking amongst themselves, once Gammons started talking you could hear a pin drop. He is definitely respected.

07.10.09 Lunch with a Legend - Peter Gammons
I got the opportunity to attend ESPN 1000's Lunch with a Legend featuring Peter Gammons today. The event was held at Morton's, The Steakhouse in Chicago and was part of the live Wadle and Silvy show on ESPN 1000.

Getting my picture taken with Peter Gammons. I also had him sign one of my Midnight Oil album covers, as I knew he was a fan. We I passed it over to him he laughed and said that they were one of his favorite bands. Anyone can get a baseball or picture signed.
